Your Parents’ Wedding Video and What Has Changed Since Then.

Face it, you have an attention span of a gnat. You don’t want a wedding video that’s over an hour long!
Also, look at how cute my parents are!

Back when our parents were getting married wedding videos were much longer. The videographer most likely set up a camera on a tripod, hit record and delivered a wedding video was simply their ceremony and speeches from beginning to end. Nowadays, cameras have advanced and wedding films have become much more intricate. A wedding film these days feels more like you're starring in your own little film. It captures the details, emotions and movement of the wedding day, all within a couple minutes.

Every wedding videographer will have their own style but I personally choose to create highlight films. In contrast to creating longer drawn-out videos, I focus on creating 4-5 minutes films that capture the true essence of the day. I’ve found that these bite size films are easier to share and re-watch each year than the longer alternatives. Seriously, you have some pretty amazing friends if they’re willing to sit down and watch your hour long wedding film with you!

You lived through your wedding day, you don’t need to re-watch the whole day from beginning to end. Instead you’ll want to remember the key moments and the overall feeling of love from your special day.
